With a focus on sustainable energy and CO₂ reduction, the European Union’s Energy Efficiency Directive (EED) calls for a drastic improvement in the energy efficiency of buildings and presents housing companies with the challenge of modernising the energy efficiency of their portfolios on the one hand and informing their tenants about their individual consumption behaviour on the other, in order to motivate their tenants to reduce their energy consumption in the long term through the transparency gained and thus contribute to increasing energy efficiency.

Balanced implementation of the EED is therefore a complex task for housing companies, as the initial situations are very diverse, the data structures are complex and the data supplied by the meter reading partner and the equipment vary greatly. PROMOS offers an integrated solution for your SAP^® system to support companies in implementing the obligation to provide information to their tenants and residents throughout the year.

Optimise your data management with our SAP^® ERP-integrated solution! The PROMOS solution ensures seamless synchronisation of master data between the housing company’s ERP system and the meter reading company. The connection of external service providers via web services and the use of SAP^® Business Logic enables precise mapping of even complex structures at property level, for example for different ownership structures such as third-party management or home-owners’ associations, with different company codes in a property. The SAP^® ERP-integrated service covers all data logistics, from quality assurance, transfer and processing of supplied data to transparent visualisation at the level of the rental property or contract in the ERP system.

It also supports the creation of digital documents and the forwarding of your users’ consumption data throughout the year. Many companies still use mixed forms of digital and analogue delivery by post, which is why the PROMOS solution offers the necessary flexibility to meet the existing system requirements in your company thanks to its modular approach.

PROMOS Utilities Cockpit: The web service provided by the German Association for the Distribution of Heating and Water Costs (Arbeitsgemeinschaft Heiz- und Wasserkostenverteilung e.V) is used for the manual and automatic retrieval of consumption data so that it can be saved for external billing in the PROMOS Utilities Cockpit. There is also a manual file import function for smaller heating meter reading companies.
Provision for tenants: A central printing function for the real estate contract enables the consumption data to be provided collectively for all of the company’s properties on a key date. This generates a PDF document for each contract based on to the correspondence specifications set for the tenant. Depending on the communication channel chosen by the tenant, this document can be sent digitally or in printed form by post.
Tenant app: In addition, the monthly consumption data can be provided fully automatically in the easysquare tenant app, with the graphic visualisation and comparative values in the widgets offering high added value for your tenants.
Tenant app light: If you don’t use an easysquare tenant app, you can still provide important core information on consumption data in digitised form by installing the “light” tenant app as a WebApp. The WebApp can also be provided in your own corporate design and, in addition to displaying consumption in widgets and forms, also includes setting up the client and the authentication process.
Evaluation: To ensure that your employees have direct access to the necessary information on the business process, the solution offers a central evaluation option for all consumption data as well as a visualisation of the individual values directly in the rental property or rental contract.
