The most-clicked articles in our newsletter in 2024 provide exciting insights into the topics that are driving the real estate industry. Between sustainability, ancillary costs and legal regulations, one thing is clear: companies are still under pressure to implement external requirements. However, the great response also shows that digitization is increasingly being perceived as an opportunity – a change that we can drive forward together.

The change in ancillary costs: obligation and potential

Utility billing remains a central topic. Whether it's CO₂ emission cost allocation, the increasing complexity of creating utility bills, or technical changes such as D-band processing – the challenges are many and varied, and this is also reflected in your interest in our articles. However, it is striking that the pressure to adapt often comes from outside, whether it's new regulations or economic constraints. But behind every obligation, there is also the opportunity to make processes more efficient and sustainable. EXAD is a good example of such a solution. This solution for consumption billing is highly integrative and takes a holistic approach to the process of utility billing. Last year, companies like BUD impressively reported on the advantages the software offers them.

Innovative partnerships pave the way

Our partnership with Planon attracted a great deal of attention in 2024. It's no wonder that the report is one of the top three most-clicked posts. With a CAFM solution that is seamlessly integrated into SAP®, we are filling a huge gap in the provider market. What is particularly exciting here is that we are not only addressing existing customers, but also reaching new target groups. The enthusiasm and interest in this topic make it clear: there is a huge demand for digitization solutions that create real added value. We have now expanded the partnership to include an integration of our tenant app. The first implementation projects are already starting.
