Review of EXPO REAL 2024: PROMOS as a safe haven in stormy times
EXPO REAL is one of the most important events of the year for us! Here we have the time and space to engage in intensive dialogue with long-standing customers and interested discussion partners on important topics, to brainstorm ideas, make plans and strengthen trust. For our management in particular, the trade fair is a special hub for discussing current issues with new and familiar faces – away from the daily project business. Jens Kramer and Volker Schulz took advantage of this opportunity, as did our new managing directors Elena Wollscheid and Erik Walter. Hardly a coffee break went by without hands being shaken and intense conversations being held. Back in Berlin, Walter reported with satisfaction: “It was one of our first events since we took over as the new management. I can only say that Elena and I are incredibly grateful for the trust and openness shown to us from all sides.” With regard to the trade fair, Wollscheid adds: “We were able to hold really valuable discussions in Munich, most of which we will intensify further in the coming weeks. We look forward to many future projects that we will tackle together with our partners and customers.”
Jens Kramer is also satisfied with the discussions held: “Many new, but also familiar visitors approached us who associate PROMOS with high performance and reliability. It was great to see how our good reputation has spread and been consolidated. It was clear to see at the trade fair that people from all over the world are interested in our latest solutions. They know that we do solid work – yesterday, today and in the decades to come. The discussions at the EXPO showed us once again that our customers talk to each other and that we benefit greatly from recommendations and our network.” Stefan Klotz, Head of Customer Experience, was welcomed with great interest as a new member of the PROMOS board. Barely four weeks in, he is in the midst of forging roadmaps for the future together with customers and interested parties. I’m sure our team would have happily filled two more days of the fair with many more conversations!
Hot topic: Change of ERP
So there was a lot of hustle and bustle at stand B1.033. The numerous visitors not only took the opportunity to get to know the new management better, but were also interested in learning about our ERP solutions, above all. Wollscheid comments: “We can clearly sense that our customers are unsettled by current events on the ERP market. Interested parties contact us because we offer them two important things: future-proof systems and a long-term partnership. We have built up this reputation over several decades. Customers know that they can rely on us. And that won’t change in the future either.”
Newcomer: Planon partnership
Our new partnership with Planon also aroused a great deal of interest, attracting many curious dialogue partners at the trade fair. Volker Schulz, Managing Director, and Alexander Bungardt, Sales Manager, who are in charge of the partnership, were on hand to answer questions from interested parties about solution content and design options. The lively interest shows that our solutions, collaborations and visions for the future are in tune with the times and are of great value to many companies.
EXPO REAL – a summary
In the current turbulent market conditions, many companies are looking for reliable partners and stable, future-proof systems. Our discussions at the EXPO have clearly shown that, for many, we are exactly the safe harbour they need in a turbulent market. Visitors to EXPO REAL were already able to get a good idea of this how this harbour looks – and perhaps even take a first step into the new territory that they will soon want to enter for the long term. We would like to thank everyone for their great interest and look forward to continuing the inspiring discussions!
At EXPO REAL, the participants held important discussions on the topics of digitalisation, AI and smart process control.
