EXPO REAL 2019 – PROMOS presents innovations

A perennial favourite among digitisation topics once again this year was mobile management by app. However, as we described in our recently published magazine IT&I and reinforced again at EXPO REAL, an app must not simply be self-serving. When introducing and using an app, processes should also be rethought. The pages of property managers, owners, landlords and tenants were illuminated on a user-specific basis. Thomas Bechteler from Dawonia Management GmbH described in a well-attended presentation how the tenant app resulted in a real #efficiency boost for his company and which points contributed to this success.

In the midst of the trade fair bustle, this year we also set aside time for participants in the new Innovation Tours created by Messe München, who operate the exhibition grounds. A guide led smaller groups of interested persons to trade fair stands with a particularly innovative portfolio, where they were given information on ideas, solutions and future strategies. We participated in the “Manage & Operate” category and gave visitors insight into our range of services and our visions.

We entered into intense dialogue not only with visitors to our stand during many individual separate appointments, but also at our get together under the theme “skipping off into the blue yonder”. With a Blue Melon Soda or ultramarine champagne in hand, we clinked our glasses as the day wound down. As a result, as well as providing answers to the most urgent questions, we travelled home with inspiration and ideas for new projects and product developments on board. Perhaps one or two of these topics will appear at EXPO REAL next year... we’ll keep you updated!
