PROMOS consult continues to grow thanks to long-term customer relationships and new projects
The key to sustained success and continuous growth across 25 years is the trusting and constructive cooperation with customers. While the company was able to gain well-known customers, PROMOS still generated more than 50 percent of its total revenue with customers it has worked with for over 10 years. Managing Director and founding shareholder Jens Kramer explains: “The last quarter-century has of course brought enormous changes in software and computer technology. We always stay on top of the latest developments to ensure that we are a reliable, innovative IT partner for the real estate industry. Our guiding principle has always been that the customer is the main focus. We take the changing demands and requirements into account in our consulting and when developing our solutions. Recently, this has included topics like sustainability, digital networking and the abolition of paper as a medium for information.”
Since launching in Berlin in 1998 with 13 employees, PROMOS has grown to employ more than 270 consultants, developers, IT support staff and other specialists at a total of five locations throughout Germany. The company’s 25th anniversary will be celebrated with special events for the team.
This year’s OpenPromos User Forum offers customers and interested parties the perfect opportunity to look at the company’s successful history and efficient ideas for the future. This is the 16th time that industry insiders, specialists and digitisation experts will come together at the event.
20 years after the launch, it will take place as a hybrid event for the first time on 10 and 11 May 2023. With around 200 participants from all segments of the real estate industry, 27 speakers, 15 presentations and 7 slots in the Innovation Lounge, the event will present innovations, fresh ideas and strategies under the motto “We’re flying high on digitisation”. Exciting insights will come from PROMOS customers such as Bayerische Hausbau, DOGEWO21, Gewobag, TAG, Vonovia, WSL Leipzig and partners such as Aareal and DigiWoh. The current challenges for companies in the real estate industry will also be discussed. One highlight will be the panel discussion “A sector under stress – companies in the real estate and housing industry struggling to survive in a multi-crisis era”. Hosted by moderator Philipp Bächstädt, the top-class guests Klaus Graniki (Managing Director, DOGEWO21), Dr Christian Jaeger (Board Member, GEWOBA Bremen), Norbert Riffel (Managing Director, VBW Bochum), Dr Alexander Hellmuth (Senior Manager, Ernst & Young Real Estate) and Jens Kramer (Managing Director, PROMOS consult) will discuss solutions and strategies for the future.
Save the date: The 16th OpenPromos User Forum will take place at the Leonardo Royal Hotel Berlin Alexanderplatz from 10 to 11 May 2023. The full event programme is available on the website https://www.openpromos.com/opaf/.
