Energy consumption reporting for 526 municipal objects in Mainz – PROMOS.REC and Gebäudewirtschaft Mainz are planning on a collaboration for cost reduction
The PROMOS.REC real estate controlling GmbH, consulting partner for reliable controlling of real estate assets, is going to provide the GWM Gebäudewirtschaft Mainz with a modern energy consumption reporting. The goal is to be aware of the consumption of the particular objects and to calculate potential cost savings.
“As a municipal association we consistently have to react spontaneously to political requests
but prepare periodic reportings concerning our real estate portfolio as well”, explains Uwe
Hehl, division manager of the GWM service management. Up to this point all required data
was put together manually with the Microsoft Office® standard applications, which goes with
a lot of effort, instead of retrieving them with the already existing SAP® system.
“We will fasten the processes of the GWM markedly with our ready-made applications from
the portfolio of SAP® BusinessObjects”, says Markus Grube, CEO of the PROMOS.REC,
gladly about the successfully completed assignment. “For the company this will save much
effort in the future, reduce administrative costs and avoid errors in analyses due to incorrect
typewriting”, he continues.
After the implementation of the automated energy consumption reportings, reports on
consumption data of business entities or buildings of the GWM will be generated in the
system straightaway within the pre-formatted report templates. Also load courses of energy
consumptions can be collected within the SAP® system and can be integrated into the
reports for indefinite observation periods automatically instead of manually from Excel lists.
