Holiday jobs & internships

We are looking for interns who are motivated to produce results and open to working with new and innovative technologies. You should also be a team player and value appreciative cooperation. You know what you want and always have your eye on the future? All the better! We provide internships of at least three months. This length of time makes it possible for us to integrate you into our projects so that you can independently take on tasks and assume responsibility.

Voluntary internships

Your degree programme doesn’t require an internship? Then join PROMOS as an intern on a voluntary basis. You can gain crucial experience here that will benefit you in your entry into the workforce and your future career. If you’d like to complete a voluntary internship during your studies, we recommend doing this during the holidays. You can also complete a voluntary practical semester. The golden rule here is: the longer, the better. In a six-month internship, you can learn more and assume responsibility for your own projects. At PROMOS you have the opportunity to make contacts that will be an advantage to you later in your career.

Mandatory internships

Your university requires a mandatory internship before you can graduate? No problem! You can also do this with us. Unlike a voluntary internship, however, a mandatory internship must be clearly connected to your field of study. You can choose any of our locations for your internship. Please send us your university’s requirements along with your application. This will allow us to quickly determine which of our various teams is the best setting for you to put your theoretical knowledge into practice. It is also possible to combine a mandatory internship with a voluntary internship.

We offer you the opportunity to complete an exciting and diversified work experience placement in our company. If you are between 15 and 18 years old, you can work 40 hours per week with us. However, you are only allowed to work for a total of four weeks per calendar year. You can use these four weeks during your summer break from school to get a taste of life in a company or spread them out across the year and work during other holidays.

We generally do not make extra postings for school student work experience placements in our job portal. Simply send us your speculative application and we will examine whether we have a good opening for you as quickly as possible. Your application should include a short letter of motivation, your CV and your most recent school report. Describe in your letter why you are the best choice for a work experience placement at PROMOS!

Of course, now comes the question: is there compensation for the hard work? Every internship we offer is paid. The exact level of pay depends on your qualifications and the length of your internship.
