Curtain up for the OPAF program – What's behind the agenda and why attending this year is especially worthwhile
Strategic innovation – How the OPAF agenda was developed
At the heart of this year’s program planning is the PROMOS Success Network – an initiative that has been driving strategic topics, solutions, future oriented ideas, and innovation across departments for the past 18 months. The knowledge and vision developed within this network form the foundation of the OpenPromos User Forum 2025. Instead of simply presenting completed projects, we ask: what will truly move the industry forward over the next few years? And which developments have the potential to sustainably transform processes? These are the themes we wanted to put center stage – thoughtfully selected, practically implemented. The result is a program focused on topics that are not just currently “available” but which we believe will genuinely make a difference in the future. So, what are these topics?
A diverse program with real depth
We bring our focus topics to life in a variety of formats – so everyone can find exactly what helps them move forward.
Artificial Intelligence, for example, will be addressed both strategically and practically: On Day 1, we’ll discuss the direction we’re moving in at PROMOS and which solutions are already in development. On Day 2, we’ll dive into the real-world application, with ProPotsdam reporting on their project and how they are using their AI solution in practice. Individual questions can also be discussed directly with Nida Kizilaslan in the Innovation Lounge. In addition, we’ll tackle legal aspects of using AI – a topic that is often (wrongly?) feared in day-to-day practice.
Our new topic, Managed Business Services, will also take the stage: What does this term actually mean? How can recurring tasks be permanently removed from day-to-day operations and handled more efficiently? The OPAF will provide clear guidance and highlight where the real added value lies.
Another highlight: TREI will present their use of the Data Governance Tool, launched two years ago at the last OPAF in cooperation with TAG. Today, the solution is live at TREI and has significantly optimized operational workflows in daily business.
Tailored for the audience: Real-word insights for real-world solutions
The OpenPromos User Forum is more targeted than ever to different audience groups. End users in particular will benefit from practical presentations: How exactly does a solution work? What are the key steps in a successful implementation? And how can change management be effectively embedded into everyday project work? For prospective clients, a dedicated breakout session offers real-world reports from migration projects, discussions about ERP decisions, and an introduction to PROMOS.GT ready2. Here too, it’s not just PROMOS experts speaking – customers and market participants will share their own experiences and perspectives. The full panel line-up will be announced shortly.
Space for intentional exchange
Despite all the in-depth content, one thing remains indispensable: personal interaction. That’s why we have deliberately created even more space for networking this year – with generous break times, plenty of informal communication points in the exhibition area, and our popular Innovation Lounge, where the “Meet the Expert” format once again invites direct conversation.
And for the first time: OPAF will take place in summer! We’re hoping for sunny weather and inspiring conversations in the hotel’s leafy courtyard – open, relaxed, and truly valuable.
If you want to be more than just part of the conversation – if you want to help shape the future – don’t miss OPAF 2025. Register now – we look forward to seeing you there!
