Kickstart for our PROMOS Success Network
A consultancy firm with its own products? Developing solutions and remaining innovative in everyday project work? Driving an entire industry forward with our innovations? What? We say: “Challenge accepted!” How we do this and what drives us is the subject of this article.
PROMOS has accumulated over 25 years of expertise in SAP software, which we and our customers in the real estate and housing industry can draw on. And yet we have been focusing on developing our own solutions since the company was founded in 1998. For example, our correspondence solution OPCC or our craftsmen portal. Our promoters recognised the need in the market at an early stage and closed an important technological gap in the system with their solutions in 2000/2001. Or think of our numerous apps that companies can use to communicate with their customers completely digitally. The list of our portfolio is indeed long!
PROMOS has always stood for expert SAP consulting and combines this with innovative in-house solutions and our own software products. However, as is so often the case in the consulting industry, day-to-day project business regularly catches up with us. So how can we maintain a balance between specialised work and customer projects?
Our answer is the PROMOS Success Network!
What is behind the PROMOS Success Network, or PSN as we call it?
First of all, there are many bright minds behind the PROMOS network who will now come forward with their ideas and concepts. Depending on their area of expertise, they form a team or node, referred to as Expert Nodes. Together, they develop ideas, create roadmaps, further develop prototypes and existing products and acquire projects for the company. And PROMOS invests in this work – with a working time budget to honour the development of solutions and open communication with our customers.
Who is in charge?
Each Expert Node has a leader. They take care of arranging joint team appointments, responding to applications for a team and supporting technical decisions. And then there are another two “Guys” – these two coordinate the Success Network, regularly bring all the Expert Nodes together and ensure a good atmosphere on top ;-)
- The clue is in the name, because the Success Network promotes success. We help our customers achieve commercial success with innovative solutions and products. With our software, they work more efficiently, become more productive and benefit from cost advantages.
- The network creates the best conditions for internal cross-functional collaboration and exchange. At the same time, we want to involve our customers through transparent communication and proactively test new developments with them.
- In addition, the Success Network offers a great opportunity – for our experts to showcase themselves and for our fresh newbies to get actively involved and take on responsibility right from the start. Having a career is part of the PSN.

What topics do the Expert Nodes deal with?
The work in the PROMOS Success Network covers a wide range of topics. Just like our portfolio itself. It starts with the classic processes of our customers, such as invoicing and payment transactions, utility statements, mobile property management or letting – and ultimately extends to current game changers such as AI and data governance. A total of 13 teams will be starting with us, but who knows how many more will join!

What can our customers look forward to?
The PROMOS Success Network not only brings our teams together for intensive collaboration, but also promotes mutual exchange and technological development. Our Expert Nodes also allow us to participate in the progress. And this is where it gets exciting – for the entire community of inquisitive project managers, fellow travellers, key users, partners and interested parties. We can all follow with curiosity the regular contributions of our experts on LinkedIn or meet in person at one of the next events. Here, experiences can be exchanged and discussed with other colleagues from the industry. What does the process look like where you are? How do you do it? Are you ready yet or is it planned for next year? The event kicks off on 18 September 2024 at the Hotel Zoo in Berlin. On the eve of the SAP Congress, we want to talk about digital matters together, and when we say digital, we are thinking of the current hot topic in the industry, that of AI.
